Hunger or Hell?

"Sometimes I wonder about the karmic implications of these actions"
"There's too many people in the world and not enough food." -Motel Hell

Watching Motel Hell (1980), a hilarious dark comedy about using people as farm animals. This is a concept that has existed for centuries; from A Modest Proposal to futuristic dystopias. Why is it that humans and many other animals have a natural taboo against eating their own kind? Even in the dark ages when other races were viewed as inhuman, they were used as slave labor but never for a food source. The Donner party incident and the the practice of cannibalism after death in tribes is viewed as tragic and barbaric. Aborted fetuses are used as art projects but not for stem cell research? Simply musing in a rather bitter theme as I am home with Grandpa Tom today and disgusted by the behavior of previous caretakers. A good number of the women I interviewed for the position had a criminal history of stealing medication from their patients. Argh.

When my grandmother was at the Haven assisted living place, she had stuff stolen from her room. Also, I think the aborted fetus art project was a hoax.http://www.ivygateblog.com/2008/04/aborto-artist-was-faking-no-fetuses-were-hurt-in-the-making-of-this-senior-project/
